My practice focuses on working with women, children, and families. Adult women that seek my services often find an ability to gain a deeper, more intimate relationship with themselves. My work with kids is centered on the model of synergetic play therapy. I use this model to assess for nervous system dys-regulation and help the child individually and the family learn ways of being regulated more easily and more often.

 

I received most of my training through Naropa University and the Play Therapy Institute of Colorado. Both of these approaches emphasize experiential learning, mindfulness, and integrating mind and body. Many of my clients will engage in kinesthetic interventions such as sand tray, art, or going outside.
