Sometimes we get stuck; stuck in certain behaviors, beliefs about ourselves and the world, in our personal relationships, and/or substances. That's where I come in. As a psychotherapist, I offer guidance and reflection for alleviating symptoms of past experiences affecting your life today, as well as providing movement for change and implementing new, more rewarding behavior and positive movement in your life.
I use a mindfulness-based and client-centered therapy approach, with a variety of Evidenced-Based Practices and techniques including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness-based interventions, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI) and Gestalt therapy techniques. Upon request, I also provide AcuDetox (NADA protocol) in session to aid with relaxation and a variety of other benefits.
