the process as growth and personal development occur.

I have a bachelor’s degree in sociology, a master’s degree in counseling, and a doctorate degree in psychology.  I am licensed and board certified in neurofeedback, a certified gestalt therapist and a Doctor of psychology (PsyD).

What do I do?  I do bio/neurofeedback to heal the nervous system.  In biofeedback I utilize skin conductance, EMG, skin temperature and heart rate variability to train the
autonomic nervous system to lower arousal and stress responses.  This means I help you lower your anxiety through feeding back to you what your biology is doing while you learn to change your automatic responses.

In neurofeedback I train the central nervous system to increase focus, mood and performance.  I treat issues including ADHD, learning disorders, anxiety, trauma, depression, autism symptoms, concussions, traumatic brain injuries, memory, processing speed, panic, anger, behavioral issues, bed wetting and more through operant conditioning techniques and neuroplasticity.  I also train athletes to perform at higher levels assisting them to learn how to direct and utilize their nervous system to access higher levels of performance.

I also do talk therapy. I am trained and certified as a gestalt therapist.  My specialty is contact.  Through relationship and contact we develop awareness.  This is how healing begins.  My knowledge about the brain, combined with my skills as a therapist living in authenticity, truth, and responsibility is what creates change.  This is where we start in therapy.

Why do I do it?  I believe in the power of relationship, presence, consciousness, personal
responsibility, awareness, growth, and mindfulness as a conduit to heal.  Creating healthy change in my life propelled this journey for me.  I use what I gained in my journey, education and training to help you learn, focus, feel great, and live an amazing life.  I believe everyone can have an amazing brain and life.
