Licensed Social Worker

If you are reading this and considering reaching out, thank you; thank you on behalf of myself and thank you on behalf of your own wellness potential.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who specializes in brief and solution-focused therapeutic support. This encourages you, the client, to focus on your own potential to solve the issues that prevent you from being your best self.

A graduate of the University of Washington (Masters in Social Work) and Colorado State University (BA in English with a teaching certificate), I have several years of experience working in the schools with adolescents and now am finding myself excited to start a clinical practice that supports adults. My

current focus is on working within the first responder and medical community, providing clinical support to those who help others in an emergency responder and healthcare provider capacity.

This focus, however, does not limit me to just working with first responders but also allows me to work with people who want to gain an understanding of how trauma and chronic daily stressors can impact current functioning and relationships. By asking questions such as "what is working for you right now and what could be working better for you right now", I approach the therapeutic relationship through a strength-based and solution focused lens, encouraging, through deliberate and thoughtful questions, the client to come to the conclusion of what is best for themselves.

Finally, as a mental health professional who assesses suicidal ideation in a professional capacity, I am comfortable with discussing and supporting a client through suicidal ideation and intensity.

I believe that mental health and wellness is accessible to everyone. Connecting today is the first step in being your best self so you can show up to your best life.  Feel free to contact me at (970)846-6252 or mollylotz@gmail.com.  I am also provider associated with several local EAPs, so we can look into accessing therapy through a work-based benefit.
